Savia Green Space aims to fight the drought punctually suffered in some areas of the Mediterranean coast. These two green areas and their furniture help make the most of water thanks to two concepts: dynamic shapes distributing the liquid and a combination of textures and materials to conduct water. This helps to transport, store and distribute rain –or maintenance- water to the sorrounding plants and vegetation so as to have a highly autonomous area almost independent from both maintenance and water. This project was carried out in collaboration with MaterialScience department (Bayer) and Baytech and Baydur materials were used. Designed by: Francesc Gasch, Àngels Gratacós, Juan Izquierdo and Pau Jordà.
